Sital Punja FRSA launched Threads London Limited in 2014 as a dressmaking workshop dedicated to producing high end occasional wear for women and children. In 2016, Sital added a bespoke occasion wear dressmaking service to the business as the demand for affordable dressmaking whether it be bridal, bridal party of religious occasion wear, was growing.
“People are all shapes and sizes and more and more women are coming to me asking for dresses to be made for them rather than buying and altering. Nothing pleases me more than to see women thrilled with how they look in the dresses we make whether its for designers or our private clients”.
Sital and her highly experienced team of dressmakers, have worked with a strong portfolio of clients that include designers such as Halpern, Justine Tabak, Caroline Charles, Nicki Macfarlane, I WED, Palmer Harding, Anna Scholtz, Viking Wong and JW Anderson. Sital, herself has managed costumes production for London 2012 Olympic Ceremonies and Disney’s Man from Uncle and Cinderella. Through her clients she has had the privilege of dressing celebrities and VIP alike from the Duchess of Cambridge to Celeste.
Sital’s business background is uniquely complimented with technical skills and an collaborative approach that modern day dressmaking requires. Her passion for ethical manufacturing is reflected throughout the business from employment to environmental policies and strongly believes in flying the flag for Made in UK.
